Q. What are your office hours?
A. Our office is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. StorageSTOP tenants have access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q. Do you have an after hours emergency line where we can talk to a live person?
A. Anytime you call the main office number - 519-253-1000 - after hours, you will find instructions on how to contact a live person in the event of an emergency. If your call is not an emergency call, leave a message and we'll get back to you on the next business day.

Q. How can we pay for your services?
A. Debit, Cash, or Cheque.


StorageStop

Q. A lot of storage facilities say they're temperature controlled but are only heated in winter. Is your facility truly temperature controlled?
A. StorageSTOP is heated in the winter and dehumidified in the summer via a unique air filtering system. For more information about the Storage Stop facility click here.

Q. Is your storage facility secure?
A. StorageSTOP is equipped with layers of security from cameras to commercial grade padlocks so that you can be sure that whatever you store will be stored safely.

Q. What if it's raining outside? Do you have a covered area for unloading?
A. Storage stop has a loading dock where tenants can pull their cars or moving van into the privacy of the loading dock and shut the outside door to hold off the weather and prying eyes.

Q. What about bugs and rodents? Does StorageSTOP have a plan in place to keep them at bay?
A. We have a regular maintenance schedule for pest control - also humidity allows for bugs to breed in damp cardboard as they might at other storage facilities which are not dehumidified.


DocuSTOP

Q. Is there a fee for dropping off boxes of documents to be shred?
A. Beyond the fee to shred, there are no additional costs to shredding.

Q. Are there a minimum number of boxes that I can bring in to be shred?
A. Bring as much or as little as you like and we'll shred them for you for a fee that's much less than the bigger companies that have the minimum requirements will charge.

Q. Can we watch our documents being shred? 
A. Yes. We do ask that you stand a safe distance from the shredder but you will be able to see the entire process.

Q. Do you provide Certificates of Destruction?
A. Yes we do.  Just let us know before we begin the shredding process as there is a small additional fee for this document.

Q. Can you shred items other than paper?
A. We can better advise if we know what you're shredding so give us a call. We can shred credit cards, CDs, cassettes and X-rays.

Q. Do we have to take out staples etc.?
A. Staples and small paper clips are fine. If you'd like us to remove binder covers, larger clips or other items which should be shred seperatly, we charge a small additional fee.

Q. Do you shred VHS tapes, sim cards or computer hard drives?
A. Yes. Give us a call and we can give you a price for shredding anything that contains personal information or contact lists.
